Tough to Say Goodbye...

Yes... I took a HUGE hit on the 07... one I had a tough time swalling, but I already had 31000 miles or so on the car(somewhere around there) and it was either get out now... or not get out ever.

Believe it or not... the money was all mine, and I am NOT a rich man, just obsessed with cars. No college degrees, but have always been in sales. (Technology sales for 6 years, avg 45k salary) (Real Estate sales for 3 years avg 55k salary) (Business sales current Telecom )

Long story short, I havent saved anything, lol... but you live once, and I love to drive. Can't take the money with you, so why not. I BY no means fit the profile of a Lexus driver... but oh well its not about that, its about what you enjoy.

And as for the extra money, sure, YOU got it... all extra $13.00 I have at the end of the month. :D

Ay yay yay, only $13 left at the end of the month?! I'd be EXTREMELY afraid of that if I were in sales. At least you got out of real estate, or yu'd be driving a Ford Fesitva right now. Real estate has tanked, and shows no sign of coming up for air for at least another year.

MCO... you got it man, local real estate is rough right now... in fact I was laid off in May of this year... but landed into a much better job with a nice secure base, plus commission, and it is a union job. :-) Yeh, 13 dollars is scary, but I could always make some other cutbacks other places if things get rough.... Like eating Ramen noodles in a Lexus, LOL.

enjoy the car

Postby copeland » Sat Jan 26, 2008 2:28 am

My close friend has one, and wow the speed of that car is just amazing
when you floor it that thing just GOES, and it doesn't even feel like you are going
you hit 145 so fast in it, the handling is flippin amazing for a 4 door sedan, and all the while you still enjoy the luxury and smooth ride. One thing I'll recommend you get is the K&N typhoon intake, that thing is silent w/ normal driving & is pretty nice sounding at WOT. Its somewhat loud, but trust me it makes the car sound like it has a monster under the hood

if i had my way i'd have the gen2 gs300 right now, but my parents insisted i get something slow like the solara (for my own safety) :(
*sigh* I can only hope getting tein coilovers on my solara can make it handle like the gs

lol you can tell i love lexuss
