I have had these in the Solara for years. No problems with them. The regular indiglo was too bright for my taste even on the dimmest setting.

I have the first one on my car right now. I've had them for a little over a year now and I have never regretted getting them, although they were cheaper back then.

It comes in two colors when it's activated. When the headlights are on, but the circuit is off, the gauges produce a blue color and there's a slight humm of electricity. When the circuit is on, it changes to a slightly greenish color and the humm is gone.

On the regular indiglo the whole white face lights up. It’s like having a flashlight in your face while you drive. The reverse gauges just the numbers and lines light up, which is a lot easier on the eyes.

My old gauges were like this:

My newer ones are more like the ones you're considering.

I have the second one.
Only difference is the lights and the color of the gauges.
IMO the second one looks better.

i have the indiglo ones on my gen 3 from my rice stage... they are insanely bright but it has a full dimmer. They were a nightmare to install on that car because you had to glue them over the face of the gauges and the needles would catch. This was 3 years ago and to this day the needle on the speedo freezes when it goes below 40 because the glue expands and pushes on the needle.

IMHO these are kind of ricey, but the reverse glows are a bit cleaner. I think the solara uses screws for the gauge face so it would be a lot easier to install.

I have the reverse glow. I think I found where I got mine: http://www.makotoautotrends.com/store-d ... inestoreDB

It's a little bit cheaper than at procarparts or wherever the original link was.

Here's a pic of my setup before I changed the bulbs from red to white:

Note: The needles, odometer, and gears are now white since I changed the bulbs.
