ABS problem, please help

ABS problem, please help

Postby harp00n » Thu Dec 06, 2007 1:13 pm

My ABS light turns on sometimes with the tire pressure light and it disables ABS system to work. It resets when the ignition starts again, but comes back while driving...

At my local Toyota service station they didn't fix it today, because they know little about Solara. Tomorrow I have to come to them again, they will try to fix it, so ...

IF ANYBODY CAN GIVE A CLUE, what might it be (abs sensors, or...?)

PLEASE HELP.

The problem seems to be with the wire from the ABS sensor.

I hope they will just fix the wire, without changing that sensor...

Ok, the problem is solved and it was easy!

The wire from the ABS block to the ABS sensor was broken and mechanic just had fixed it, erased the error from comp and everything seems to be ok now :)

Glad it's fixed. Nice that they found the right thing the first time. Kind of rare on the complex systems.
