I have a 99 solara with 133,000 miles on it and all i have done is change spark plugs. And Im have to have the engine pulled out to put in a rear main seal and what else should i do to it since the engine going to be pulled out?

may as well do the axle seals then I guess

otherwise...not much else that you can't do with the engine in the car

are you sure you have to pull out the engine to do the rear main seal?

i work at a shop called hometown tire and by looking at it that lookes like the easiest way to do it.

it's pretty easy....


BUT...if you work at a shop, then why not just drop the tranny ala shop manual instructions?

it saves a lot of hassle in the fact that there is a lot less things to disconnect and reconnect then- wire harnesses, hoses, etc.
