Hi new owner 2007 Solara blue streak metallic

Postby indy » Sun Nov 18, 2007 3:35 pm

Hi all I just bought a used 2007 solara se in blue streak metallic and am new to this board. I have not seen many photos of that color on Solarguy so thought I would post a few. Only thing I have done to it so far is to add mud guards from TRD....unfortunately they do not come in the blue streak color so had to use black

Should I debadge?

Postby indy » Sun Nov 18, 2007 6:01 pm

Thanks for the welcome...first question, is there any consensus on debadging.....should I take the "Toyota" and "SE" off the trunk?

That's up to you, some have.

From what others say, there are holes behind the T and SOLARA, at least on the Gen2.

Not on the back of the Gen2.5 "S O L A R A". So the solara letters can be debadge as well.

I had a feeling, since all the letters were separated, unlike the Gen2. I just didn't want to say because I wasn't sure. I knew someone would know.

Well I think I have decided to debadge the Toyota and the SE badges but will leave the Solara letters for now. Thanks for clarifying on debagding the individual Solara letters on my 2007......that is good to know for future reference.
