what did you do to your car before all those problem? you just need to replace your fuses, but there is something wrong that cause those fuses went out

^^ x2, while the CEL didn't come on, you may be able to pull some codes out if there are indicator lights coming on...i'd goto an autozone when the lights are on, and see if they can get any problem codes out of your car, which will give you a better idea of what the problem is.
<-- san antonian, by the way.

the brake light is on because your brake fluid is low, which is also an indicator that u might need ur brakes serviced. Add a little brake fluid into the reservoir to make that light go away.
for the other problems, u'll need to check the manual to see which fuses those go to or just take it to a shop.

not simply replace the pad or rotor. it is an indication of there is not enough pressure inside your power brake system.

sO WHAT MADE THAT HAPPEN???

Postby ClearWater » Wed Oct 31, 2007 2:34 pm

I have the convertible 2003. First the interior light went. So I thought it was just a bulb. Now the clock is off and the cigarette lighter too.

So I checked the fuses behind the coin tray thingy. Its fine. No real work has ever been done except a oil leak in the engine that the dealer did covered by warranty and I had the trans fluid changed just because.

What could be wrong? The car has 54,000 miles and is garage kept. The dealer told me that the fuses never blow, that it might be something else. So, ok, I don't trust the dealer. They'll tell a girl anything for a buck.

Any suggestions?

I wouldn't listen to anybody that says fuses never blow, that's their soul purpose in life lol. Get behind the kick panel to investigate further. Check wires, plugs, and fuses. Or take a very detailed pic down there and post it.

maybe you checked wrong fuse, go check the fuse and report the number and hopefully people here can help you out.
