If you get what they call Mirror tint.. you'll be screwed right when you pull out of the tint shop Mirror tint is ILLEGAL period , now for the insurance claim part thats straight up bullshit, When my car was totaled they gave me extra $ since its considered protection from shattering glass... just my opinion go with 35% and be done with it

Thats a waste of money im Sorry .. Do 20% in the rear window and 35 % in the fronts .. Having a lighter interior will make the tint look lighter .. Also 50% is like not having tint at all .

well my tint setup is 5% in rear, 20% in front.
looks great but at night the back is too dark.. can't see anything.. really.
So to agree with Ruski, I'd go with the tint setup he recommends.

I am going to say that the silver will not look good at all on a Solara, go with the charcoal.

However, what do you like?

If you don't bring attention to yourself the cops are probably not going to pull you over for tint alone. 20% in the back and 35% on the sides is a good setup. Jerry is right, go with the ultimate, charcoal will look way better.
