have your Solara service at Lexus dealership?

have your Solara service at Lexus dealership?

The Toyota dealership i always went to has gotten on my last nerve. I would rather never go there again.

There is a Lexus dealership service department very close to the Toyota one, so I thought about going there.

Anyone ever done this? I would imagine the Lexus dealership has better service.

Go and check out the prices, the service is great...but the prices are awesome too. A tranny flush costs close to 4bills! (i take my es to toyota dealerships, as its cheaper). I really don't want free feji water and other stuff.....

*Shrug* we actually got my car from Lindsay Lexus in alexandria VA - we have a friend who uesd to work at the dealership where we got out 3 series too - the onmly complaint i have about service was the day i got the car, one of their valets hit another car the day i went to pick my car up, and put a massive dent in the the front quarter panel in front of the passenger door. they fixed it for free - the body work is great but the paint started peeling 2 weeks later. i have yet to fix it... spring project

i'd say try it and see what they say. There both the same make just that Lexus is the "upgrade" of a Toyota.

When I bought my Solara I noticed there were Lexus' in the Toyota dealership for service. I asked about that (while getting a complete printout of service done during the life of my car) and the service writer indicated they get a lot of Lexus business since their (Toyota dealer) shop rates are a little lower.

So, the answer to your question as others have indicated is 'yes' you can take your Toyota to a Lexus dealer for service. Just expect to dig a little deeper into the bank account.

Cheers

I probably have a dozen or so Lexus come in for service every week. The parts are plug and play, I have ES, RX, LX, LS, GS, SC come in. The only one I haven't seen is the one between the RX and LX, forgot the name but I'm sure there's an X someone in the name, _X. GX? Going to a Lexus dealer is asking to pay more.
