most likely vibrations from the engine... do you drive a v6 or 4 cylinder? does your hood feel loose when you pop it open? i.e. does it move from side to side easily?

May be the latch needs adjusting or replaced? Have you hit anything lately? When I kissed a semi tire it cracked my lower bumper but also messed up the latch. It latches but at high speeds it noticeably shakes and when I pull up on it it has a bit of play when before there was none. So I'm gonna get a new latch mechanism

Wanted to bring this back up. Ended up not needing a new latch. My friend noticed my hood was slightly loose after he shut it yesterday and I told him it was the latch from that tire. Well, he made me feel like a dumbass. There are rubber stoppers on each side of the engine bay along the frame rails that you can turn left or right to raise or lower. He raised em up a bit and now the fit is back to factory. I was very happy.
