Engine swap question

Engine swap question

Postby Wyldhorse0705 » Thu Oct 11, 2007 6:18 pm

Is it possible to swap the 4cyl engine with the 6cyl solara engine? It doesn't look like it would be too complicated, but not sure what else I'd have to change. Computer, tranny etc.

I've heard people swap in supra motors to these cars. how hard is that? Looks like it'd be alot of trouble to swap that motor and convert it to RWD.

thanks for the help :)

GregTRD has done a 4 to a 6, and swapped the ECU,axles, trans etc. You could get in touch with him...

as far as the supra motor swap, don't think about it... it would cost way too much.. just find a supra to drive instead

yeah converting this car to a RWD would not be worth the money put into it. You could buy a supra for the amount.
