For anyone wondering, Jose said he could give you the stainless pieces for the headers not welded together and you could assemble them as you need to- that way if you run into slightly different bends on the MR2 you could account for them. He also said the price would be lower. If I were you i would give him a call with the number I posted and talk to him personally before you jump in the GB.

was that possibly the shipping charge? I will look at my charges again to see if the same thing happened to me...

Just checked, I was only charged for the remaining balance and the shipping. I would give him a call and see what happened.

FYI i got the headers in and had my buddy modify the y-pipe with 3 inch piping after the collector.

had to plug up the o2 sensor bungs and weld in new ones onto the y-pipe. since the motor mount configuration on the mr2 is different than the solaras. mounts are on the transaxle (3 of the 4 mounts)

also had to grind down the flange from the supplied EGR pipe and the flange on the rear header for the EGR. in order to clear the rear motor mount.

ALSO for some reason i had to drill out the flange on the manifold to head flange since the holes weren't in its precise location. It's suppose to slide in and out fairly easy. but when initially trying to put on the headers.. the header would only go in if i tapped it alternating left and right. so of course it wasnt how its suppose to be so thats why I drilled it.

so my review..

yes it can be used in a mr2 with some work. and I expected a better fitment quality for such a cost. maybe with some revisions It can be a better product.
