In order for the auto climate control to work, you would also need the sensor on the dash.

I don't know if they are really different as far as size and fit go, but the sensor on the dash is needed.

yeah, there is more to it than one might expect. There are two sensors, new wiring, and you have to change your ECU iirc, but I can really check ino that later if you really care.

Well, i looked things over, and it's a but puzzleing, but yeah it's a lot more work then you'll probably want to do. From what i can tell, there are 3 different types of climate controles. The manual version (rotary dials) seems to be the same for both the 4 and 6, however, the automatic seems to have different plugs based on if you have the 4 or 6, it also has the amplifier built in. this means that you will need to get all new wiring harness (allthough it is possible to rewire MOST of the pins) but the amount of work would really make this cost prohibitive except for the most die hard of fans for this mod.

Is it possible to make A/C don't start when I select "legs/window" or "window" modes (I have manual controls)?

Will it start in winter, if the temperature is low?

Well, when I set wind flow to "window" or "legs/window" - air conditioning starts.

And I don't want it to start, because i don't need a/c all the time in this directions of wind flow.

p.s. excuses for bad english :)

I dont think that can happen:
having the a/c off when the window/legs function is on because the windshield defroster uses the a/c

That's strange, it sounds like you have some sort of crossed connection.

Will the AC turn off, but fan stay on if you push the button?

A/C button does not turn on, when i choose these 2 modes, so I can switch it on (the light turns on) and then off (the light turns off) but A/C works anyway.
