I assume you meant "Gen 2.5" in your title?

I'm sure it was a DIY job - haven't seen any aftermarkets available yet.

Where was the car when you saw it? Haven't seen one like that on SG yet.

Well it was a old lady driving in it, late 40's early 50's. I doubt it was DIY. An old lady? I doubt to it was her sons car she was driving too, if you where gonna bring that theory. I saw the car in Rancho Cucamunga.

^^ Unfortunately I think you're right!

I see a Gen 2 'lara up ahead I speed up to see who's driving and 98% of the time its a woman 40+ with both hands firmly gripping the wheel like they're scared to death.

The Gen 2.5 looks darker than the Gen 2

Or else you will see one in a parking lot and take a look at it. The drivers seat is moved all the way forward, and as high as it will go.... Like a foot and a half from the wheel.
Yup, old lady driven.

You think this forum would predominately old ladies versus Asians, since there mainly driving these cars. Come to think about it I’ve never seen an Asian drive a solara past the first gen?

Ive seen 2.5's at the dealer and i know how they look. I let the golden girl catch up so i can get a better look. Still looked black. I got alot of good looks.

Oh, I re-sealed my headlamps last night/this morning, lol. As soon as I get the stock headlight off, I should be able to post up some pics of my black-housed headlight (note I only have one though).

It's not that hard of DIY job, I did this before on my 2000 celica headlights, i spray painted them black and they looked nice.
