Gary,

If it's really bothersome to you take the car to an upholstery shop. It should be an easy fix to remove the door panel, pull off the armrest and put something a little more solid under the vinyl.

The door pull portion of my driver side (where you put your hand to pull the door closed) was very loose. I applied a little heat from a hair dryer, smoothed the surface with my fingers and the area 'shrunk' (if that's a word) tightening up nicely. You might try a little heat on your dented area to see if it helps smooth the area.

Cheers

^^ Or leave the top down and set the car in the sun for an afternoon!

Mine start to "dimple" a little but I almost LIVE with the top down so one application of 90º sunshine for a couple hours always tightens things up a bit (and makes it really hot to get in with shorts!) :o

Hmmm... that doesn't help mine, and I'd say I have just as hot sunny days as you. You must have magic leather
