Armrest deterioration

The driver's side armrest on my '06 convertible has developed a series of small "dents"

If it's really bothersome to you take the car to an upholstery shop. It should be an easy fix to remove the door panel, pull off the armrest and put something a little more solid under the vinyl.

The door pull portion of my driver side (where you put your hand to pull the door closed) was very loose. I applied a little heat from a hair dryer, smoothed the surface with my fingers and the area 'shrunk' (if that's a word) tightening up nicely. You might try a little heat on your dented area to see if it helps smooth the area.

Mine start to "dimple" a little but I almost LIVE with the top down so one application of 90º sunshine for a couple hours always tightens things up a bit (and makes it really hot to get in with shorts!)

Hmmm... that doesn't help mine, and I'd say I have just as hot sunny days as you. You must have magic leather
