Hi everyone... I am new to the group and wanted to post some pictures of my Solara. Please take a look at it and don't be too hard on me.

I am trying to come up with a name for her, and I was looking for some suggestions for modifications. Thanks....

very nice. Can you use your cell phone to get internet via the laptop? Thats a lot of miles you put on your car. Hope you change your oil regularly

Yes, you can get on the Internet via the cellphone.... but it is painfully slow. You have to be desparate. The Kyocera Smartphone functions as a 19.2Kbps wireless modem. It is easier to use the browser and e-mail program in the phone standalone. For Internet access it is much better to cruise up to a wireless site and borrow some highspeed 11 Gbps bandwidth.

Don't you mean 11Mbps although 11 gigabits would be sick

Most of it's highway driving. I was planning on changing it every 5000 miles. First change is scheduled for next week. Will that be adequate? I have the VVT-i I-4 motor.

Its the endless debate on the proper oil change but heres my theory: Oil is cheaper than metal. Change it every 3k miles, especially if you can do it yourself. Granted it doesn't sound like you push your car much and highway driving isn't too bad, but at the rate you drive your car, you want the motor to last as long as possible.
