if you mean with a car jack well theres a good way to completly lift the rear end with one jack.. right between the rear wheels under the trun there a metal plate.. you jack it up there and you will see the car lift.. voila ;)

Raising your car is not the way to go.

You need to get in there and roll the fender, i.e. roll the inner lip of the fender to keep it from hitting the tire.

most likely whats happening is your suspension is shot !

get new struts and lowering spring (i know your looking to rise the car but the best choice is to lower it since with good brand springs, eibach/tein, the compression kilograms are higher than stock wich means your car wont travel as much) so that said just buy new stuff and you wont have that problem anymore and your ride quality will be greatly improved

Oh no theirs now way im goin to do that. The Solara was my first car actually its kinda hard to get rid of it. :-?

Well the reason the rear tires are hittin is because the rear spring location (the rounded area on top of the tire inside) is just like an inch from hittin the tire and with every little bump you can hear the tires hit and sorta scratch which is really annoying

If that was the case, I'd organize a mob with torches and pitchforks to descend upon his house.

I'm pretty sure it's not the spring seat that's hitting the tire, it's the fender.

Actually after taking a closer look at it yeah it is the fender thats hitting. I had alot of black grease tainted on the bottom of the fender where the tires hit and scratches. So I would guess the rolling the fender would be the only and best solution to fix this problems if im not wrong. Right?
