Thats knowledgeable about cars? especially Solaras? I'm looking at purchasing a vehicle out there and I need somebody to check one out I'm looking at. I'll pay them for their time obviously.

Ok, heres the deal, I'm looking at a 2004 Solara SE, ticks all my boxes, color, sport kit, JBL etc. Its at another dealership (not Toyota on Stevens Creek Rd in Santa Clara/San Jose.

Anyway the car looks great in pics, then I had them then email me photos of the underneath, it looks like theres rust underneath (also crack in tail pipe, no big deal) Anyway he tells me it was rust free but its hard to tell from the photos alone. Carfax tells me 2 California owners, you guys don't have salt issues out there anyway do you?


The Toyota dealership charges $120 to check a car out but I'm not sure yet whether this other stealership will run the car over for me to be checked out.

I'd like a couple of you guys to email me first anyway and I'll email the photos of the car, and I'd like your opinion on the photos of the underneath. I can't tell if its just a bad photo or not and just brown with dirt or surface rust.

I'm in Florida so it's hard over a long distance, thats why I need local knowledgeable help in Ca, and the exact Solara I'm looking for isn't coming up locally.
