Muffler for Gen 2

Muffler for Gen 2

Postby SHOLARA » Mon Aug 06, 2007 3:22 pm

I was wondering if any one had suggestions for mufflers for the Gen 2 solara. I heard the DNX makes a good sound. I want a nice aggressive sound without making it ricy. Could you also tell me where I could find it for cheap. I couldn't find a cheap price for the DNX online.

I also had a question, how do I know if certain mufflers fit. For example, I saw a Greddy Evo 2 but it wasn't for a solara, would it fit on my solara.

Thanks

I was also thinking about gettig a TRD muffler. I have recently installed Injen ram to my 04 v6 and wantd to squeeze a little more power. I love the new sound but was concerned if I installed a TRD muffler that the sound would be overbearing. I don't want the sound to be too loud at normal driving speeds. Any feedback?

They all sound like music to my ears. Wish I could make the trip to Rockville. I'll take a IOU on the offer... thanks bro. I have one other concern about the Injen. When I first take off from idle I hear a hiss noise as if there is a air leak. I have gone back several times to make sure all lines are connected properly and tight. Has anyone else experienced this? Has anyone heard of any safe performance chips? Holla at cha boy. :drinking:
