I am still very sure that it's not your positive wire that is causing your issues but that it is your ground wire. If you cant get a goo grounding in the trunk, try getting a logner ground wire and grounding it to where the rear seatbelts attach under the rear bench. That is a very common point for grounding amps, so it's probbably a good point for this as well.

After reading this...I think you even more right !!

http://www.v6performance.net/forums/showthread.php?t=32515&page=1&pp=20&highlight=ground+wire

What does a ground cable kit do?

A ground cable kit is a ground… which in this case prevents spikes in electrical signals. Our cars have electrical signals that go from all of the sensors to the ECU and then from these signals the ECU sends out signals that control the engine, air fuel, … When a good ground is not provided it allows for a spike in the electrical signals that are being received and sent out by the ECU. When this happens the signal is slightly modified causing the car to not run the way the ECU intended it to.

It is like when you are trying to talk to someone on a cell phone when you are in a tunnel and the reception is bad. The signal cuts in and out and you cannot fully understand what is being said and neither can the other person. A ground cable kit will give a full and clear signal and remove most if not all of the impurities in the signals being sent and received. This will allow your car to run more efficiently which will allow for better performance.

It is the spikes I'm feeling when keeping a certain RPM on.

How I can do my own custom ground kit ?? Where to connect in the trunk (seems to not have a good spot for it in the trunk)....

Look into doing something called "The Big 3". Basicly, you get your self some 4 guage or thicker, and you daisy chain it to different spots in the engine bay. In your case, daisy chain it throughout the trunk frame area and put a spot somewhere inside the cabin.

I would reinstall the stock (-) wires & then connect the new wire to it. Run it through like you did with the positive then hook right back up. After doing this you could do the "Big 3." There is a link I added below that has some good info on what it does & how to do it.

Hope that helps! 8)

Thanks Classy...

I think I would prefer passing the negative wire on the passenger side...thru the stock firewall . Don't want to make an other hole and think the wire will not fit properly under the plastic cover on the driver side.

Do someone may tell me where is the stock firewall hole... I know it is passenger side but where exactly it goes inside the car...near the ECU ??

thanks

Sebas, I think the correct term is drive-by-wire (thinking of fly-by-wire).

BTW, how is it faring with the grounding?

but i thought there were limitations as to the optimum length of the ground, in which case re-routing it to the stock ground would not work, unless you relocated the whole setup to the front

yeah you're right...I always forget this name..make no sense to me.
My grouding issue still not resolve...because I didn't work on it yet again. I put back my stock battery...the problem gone...now I'll work in peace. I'll ground it on the seat belt assembly under the rear seat.

It's the reason why I will relocated my ground on the rear seat belt assembly. I'll also sand again my current ground spot...I'll also put a shield on the positive wire passing near some other wire and sensor near your left foot driver side.

Nope...but never too late, code are stacked. I may go ask a garage to read the code.

Solve the problem....was the stupid stock ground wire that I disconnect...it is the only wire that ground the alternator thru the engine/tranny by the frame. So I just replace tthe sstock ground wire by an home made one.
