it is great. At 60k you should be fine. But the sooner the better.

As an engine wears, it develops pits and cracks, very miniscule, but there, noetheless. Conventional oil has thicker molecules, and can keep the ooil from leaking through there.

However, it you switch to a synthetic oil once the engine already has a lot fo wear, (say, 100k+ miles) it may actually allow a leak to develope.

I'm not 100% on this, but its what I was told.

This is true, switch sooner rather then later...i would say before 60k is what ive been reading in most cases

Im MY case, I switched at 100k and noticed leaks developing (most head gasket cover) so on the next oil change I switched back. Again, you shouldnt keep switching back and forth, in my case it was just once and the leaks have stopped...

I'm using it right now since less than a month. Everything seems to be good. I know Patrik is a private AMSOIL dealer

It varies from car to car, depends on how hard you drive your car, how much maintence you take care of, its all about how the seals are being treated. if you dont see any oil comming out, dont worry about it...

why using AMSOIL 100% synthetic oil if you change it every 5-6K miles ?? Warranty stuff ??
I'm using the same oil and will change at 10-12K miles
