Need Help, popping fuses...

I got some 25 LED 3157 bulbs from autolumination along with load resistors hoping to change the turn signal bulbs. Once installed, the turn signal fuse would pop and my turn signal would not work. I think I have the load resistors wired up correctly: one wire to the positive wire on the harness and one to ground. I don't know why my fuses keep popping when I turn on the turn signals. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

Most likely, there is a short somewhere, try removing the load resistors and see if you keep poping them. You might have installed them incorrectly or there might be some bare wire exposed that is touching ground.

Question... along with the load resistors, do you have resistors wired up in series with each of those LEDs? Otherwise you're sending lots of current through the circuit and causing it to short.

I'm guessing you have load resistors for the "Hyper turn signal" fix. If that's the case though, I'm not sure why those LEDs aren't burning.

Anyway, let me know.

^^^ No resistors are needed since the bulbs are already wired up to be used as that specific bulb replacement in a car (12 V)... I've used autolumination bulbs many times, and that's how it's been... sorry couldn't help more.

without using resistors, wouldn't the turn signal hyper blink?

Really, other people are using it with perfect results and i plan on ordering one soon. Well if you poping fuses, check your connections of your load resistors, chances are you have a short somewhere.

If you use the flasher module, you dont have to use load resistor. I have tried everything and my fuses keep popping. Anyone else have any ideas? Thanks.

Your fuses pop even when you don't use load resistors?

welp, try this, put in your factory halogen bulbs. If it still pops with those, then you have a wiring problem. If it doesn't pop, then your bulbs are bad.

I have been using the regular halogen bulbs, and it works just fine.
