Trouble Installing RDKamikaze's HIDs, i need help ASAP

I recently bought HIDs from RDK's group buy not too long ago. I tried to install it but im stuck as to where the metal prongs on the end of the bulb wiring and the relay harness wiring go.

The relay harness has two battery connections, two bulb connectors, and then theres two random wires with metal prongs on the end. can anyone help me?

I can probably tell you exactly what you need to do, but i have no idea what your refering to, can you take some pictures?

Heres the pic i took with my macbook.

the top wires are for the bulbs connected to the ballasts.

the bottom wires are from the relay harness.

i dont know where those metal prongs go.

On gen1's you can hook em up to the black box in front of the battery. I don't know about gen 2's.

If I had to guess, both the red prongs would connect to the red wiring from your relay. The 2 black prongs should be grounded. Maybe the prongs aren't supposed to be there or the relay side is missing there ends???

into the headlight socket, that was connected to the bottom of your headlight bulb.

At first glance i thought i was supposed to solder those but im scared to bust these hids. maybe they are missing their plugs and its not in the package... hmmm. any one who bought RDK's kit have this problem?

philosophicaljt, ive already tried that. The two prongs just sit inside the solara bulb sockets and then just slide out.[/quote]

you can always splice them in. Its more work, but its worth it.

Ok, while a few more pics of all the wires would be helpfull, the way i see it is this since i got a set of just bulbs, i can only help you so far...
The HID bulb has 4 wires with it, two that come right off of it with special plugs on the end (those should be self explanitory) The other two that are attached to the rubber gromet, is a wire adaptor for the H11 plug. You plug one end into the factory harness for your bulb, and the other end i guess goes to a relay or directly to the ballest, without pictures of the other wires for hte relays and ballests, i can't be sure.

philosophicaljt, thanks for the link, but i dont think this kit was supposed to require more than plug and play, i may be wrong.

Ok, here is how i see it, you hooked the bulbs up wrong. The plugs on the relay harness are suposed to go to each ballest. The power and ground wires are obviose. But that leaves us with 6 male prongs. If i didn't know any better, i would swear it's suposed to have female ends on the relay side, and then you use the wires attached to one of the bulb to power the relay. Is there a way you can get some closeups of how the relay is wired? If i know what wires are going in where, i can tell how it's suposed to work and what you might need to change.

you dont need the relay harness.

but the bare prongs
plug into your stock sockets

Try it out with out the relay harness it should turn on when you plug those 2 plugs into your stock H11 sockets
