- im sure i have blown valves, and bearings damaged.

- my plan is too get the heads completly redone, change the front end.

now i have a few questions.

- who has bored.. out thier motor?

- would it be a good idea to replace hose's?

- any suggestions would be great. or ideas

thanks- Chris

I know that TRD4life has the Red Knigh which was bored out, the car used to belong to JoeB.

I think, and am pretty sure they used Arrieta Motorsports, which is based in Maryland.

ive seen his car, its fckn nice, he runs like 15psi or 13psi, cant remember which.

Honestly..... Get that used FULL block from another car and forge it and put it together with the SC and put that clutch in NOW and Y pipe NOW and retune it like that...

Dont go building after Im seeing your not exactly ready for it. If you cant take care of it the way it was, Boring it out with 10 grand plus of work will be a waste months from now. Again get a stock block and forge it at most and install everything from the original SC over. Thats my advice. I hope you do it rather waste money.

netherland24, did you get your Solara fixed yet? What did you do/have done?

Thats not possible. You can't forge a cast block. You can install forge pistons, but the block itself can only remain cast.

Cast - Molten metal is poured into a mold then cooled at it retains the shape of the mold
Forged - Is usually a lighter metal that is hammered or pressed into shape. This process makes the same product as cast, but it will be lighter and stronger.

I meant getting the block and putting forge parts in it.
