I've been trying to search but I couldn't find out whether the 2az powered solaras share the same transmission as the 5sfe gen1s. Anyone here know? TIA

yup it's almost the same. it will bolt up

gear ratio is a little different

Does the fact that the Scion tC transmission will bolt up to the Solara's 2AZ-FE engine possibly mean the short shifter kit could work?
