Transmission Fluid Questions.

So i have questions and concerns, please try to help me out.

ive got two possible problems:

1) We used this ATF fluid...Mobil 1 Synthetic ATF Multi Vehical Formula

http://www.mobiloil.com/USA-English/Mot ... c_ATF.aspx

Is that good?

2) i checked the dip stick for the tranny fluid and it was atleast an inch past the HOT indicator...meaning i have a bit too much in there...is that a cause for concern? or should i bleed it off the Tranny cooler we installed? (we added a bit more ATF fluid to compensate for the new Tranny cooler, but now i think we compensated way too much).

as always, any help is welcome and appreciated.

that's some good atf...

and too much usually won't make a difference, but it could cause shifting irregularities

as well, since you can just pull a line off the cooler and drain some atf that way, it's not a hassle to jack up the car and let it out underneath- you may as well do it.

Thats the fluid I use. Good stuff. I was also confused at first since Mobil changed the label on the bottle to Mercon V.
