** ya.. get ur maintinance up to date first so at least you're sure that the cars' top notch condition because this way, you'll save urself the trouble of breaking down on the side of the road and u'd be more confident in long trips.

I'd stick with looks and not to much performance. Save up for a "real" sports car for speed. I've got the manual V6 supercharged and if I could start over I'd just make it look nice and would've bought a different car. (Not that I don't love my car, it's just that it'll never see really good power.)

Looks like you've got some good advices for your new ride and congrats btw.

I would recommend making a mod/upgrade list and sticking to it. Try not to side track just because you see things that others are doing that you may want to do. Just stick to your game plan and you'll find yourself enjoying it more once your list is completed.
