Who said I had a v6? I'm keepin the 4 bangers alive, lol. So if I do it, will there be some paint fading since it's a 2000? I might try it when I get home.

Are there any prongs holding on the badges or is it just glue? I really don't feel like filling the holes and gettin em painted if there are prongs.

^^just glue...just take some dental floss and let the car sit out on a hot day, or if your inpatient, take a hair dryer to it.

all thats holding the emblems on is double sided tape not glue.... no holes what-so-ever.
you might notice the color under the emblem being different. give that spot a quick wax and it should blend right in.

and yeah... try a search on how to remove them. its been discussed over and over.

Well, I did it. I went with nefarious and decided to just leave on the toyota symbol and take off everything else. Here's some pictures, tell me what you think.

sorry for raising the dead on this one but i too began debadging the lara and have a ?. did anyone have any problem with dirt bbuilt up in the lettering and caked in there. i removed the toyora and T on the trunk and found the outlining of the symbols (discoloration) and waxed but i can still see it there. but i also have the proble of the dirt that has been there caked on...does anyone have any recommendations on how to remove it...i used goo gone and dental floss to take off the emblems and tried it on the dirt too but its still there...

I recommend Goo-Gone, then try taking a buffer and some premium buffing compound (even a Mother's Powerball would work) to the area; I did this to my entire car and now the car shines practically like new and the car looks like it came shaved.

^^ using a buffer after the claybar will help. thats what I did with mine. I had serious dirt buildup around mine as well.
