New Gen 1 Owner Brings Greetings from Toronto
Hi,
Happy belated Canada Day to my compatriots. And Happy Fourth of July to our American friends and neighbours (neighbors).
I am the new owner of a 1999 SE V6 Manual.
I am a loyal Honda owner. I have previously owned a CRX si, Prelude, Accord, and now currently own a Honda Pilot EXL RES and an Acura Integra. (I also ride a Yamaha V-star Custom.)
The Lara is my first foray into Toyota and I am very eager and enthusiastic. V6, 200 hp, 5-speed manual, loaded interior, legendary Toyota quality, and drop-dead good looks?!!? Who could resist that?
I bought the car last week on the spot from our fellow Solaraguy member - Hoob.
It's in great condition and drives like a dream. It has been taken care of very well over the years - thanks Hoob.
However, I am a bit disappointed that the aftermarket for the Solara isn't too deep.
But I am not deterred. I look forward to making my Lara even more beautiful and even more of a pleasure to drive.
I would love to hear from Toronto area owners as to where to go for performance parts - particularly suspension and intake.
Cheers.
