+1

Don't bother with all the other steps. Save yourself some time and put that used gas money in trips to the building, along with a $.004 match.

This will solve all your problems, trust me  .

In reality, you should get it free. They did damage to your car bro, that's not allowed! You could sue for that stuff or something. Bring that up for sure, and that will be a BIG contribution to your free service. I do all my own work to my ride, so that I know exactly what was done and how it was done.

well if you bring parts to a shop and tell them to put it on its like buying something as-is... they just put it in and take no responsibility

Do you have the box, the part number, etc...check it. If you dont have the box and the part number isnt on there then they cant really tell if it was the right springs.

A lot of times, if you dont buy the part from the shop you have put it on they cant 'warrent' the installation but i guess its for their own protection in a case like this.

Hopefully things work out for the best...

Wow, glad you got the springs installed correctly. I'm pretty sure that he made up that story about the adapter, to cover up their mistakes. How did he get the adapter so quickly? You should call Eibach and find out. When you confirm that it's false, then call them back in front of him and tell Eibach to tell him there is no adapter - LOL!
Also, I'd tell the guy that you'll get an estimate to paint the hood somewhere else. I wouldn't want them touching my car again!

For the record the place is:

New Mothers Performance Center
32 US RT 46 East
Lodi, NJ
STAY AWAY!!!

As for everything else, he said that the "adapter" was in the box but that they didn't know that it was needed because this is something new from Eibach. Good idea Astro, I'm going to call Eibach to confirm whether they have made any changes in the installation process.

Other than that, I'm glad that the springs on there now, and the car does look good dropped. I'm getting it detailed on Sunday (unless that's too soon after the paint job) and I will be posting pics shortly there after.

The only thing is that they told me that my inner and outer rods need to be replaced as well as my lower control arm, supposedly due to unrelated reasons. I was in an accident in February where I slipped on some snow and hit the curb pretty hard so maybe thats when the damage occured. What's weird is that I haven’t had any problems since so I'm taking the car to a mechanic I trust tomorrow to see what he says about the whole situation.

Lastly, I will be taking other steps to make sure I feel avenged when everything is said and done. I'm older now and I will officially be a lawyer in a few months but I still have a vengeful side. I’ll leave it at that.

Again, thanks for all the feedback, especially considering that I am a newbie. Pics will be up soon.
