Why? Just for cosmetic reasons?

All of the wheel recommendations that I read say to keep the wheel small for performance. The whole "unsprung weight" thing. The bigger the wheel, the worse the performance.

Quick, Actually these are probably the same or maybe even less weight than that of his stock 17's, hence Forged.

200 lbs. 206lbs with the miles of packing tape the dude threw on there. Took an hour to un-mummify them.

Michael,

Those are really sharp on yer ride, son! THUMBS UP!

Oooooooo..... the DROP will look BADAZZZ as well.

Don't know HOW you survive in Chi-town with the potholes... but FORGED will certainly help with the durability...

APATHY with screenames and real people??? HA HA HA! That's FUNNY!

Jeffurry is the kid with the RED 'lara... BABALICIOUS jr. highschool cutiepie girlfriend... 8) and ONE whisker still looking for it's DEBUT somewhere on his chin...

(J/K Jeff!)

Judging by the LOCATION you usually (it seams) do your photo ops... AND yer telltale plates... you must own or "jib" a boat? 8)

Just guessing....

Brian, you're a salesman who retains names and faces... who am I thinking of? Came to Hooters and the city last year, was <21 so no bars, and has a white Gen1 that he couldn't bring on Sunday last year. I'll have to check out the pics from last year.

And Crisp, this is the other ride... 'rents own it, I sail it.

Get to Chicago and I'll take you for a ride and down some brews at the harbor.

On topic: After pushing the tire press. sensor reset for the first time in 3 yrs, the light went off and it's fine with the slightly bigger rears. After a reset it calibrates the current setup for comparison. So Sayeth the Owners Manual Ch. 10, pg 153... Go in Peace.

Is this invitation open to anyone? I'm loosely planning on a roadtrip to Chicago sometime in Aug.
It would be pretty cool to have a Solaraguy meet ON lake Michigan.

Wait...So you are not lowered? When I was talking about getting 18 inch wheels, everyone said my car would look like a 4x4 unlowered. Your car doesn't look jacked up or anything, it looks nice, and they are 19s.

I don't understand... :(

Quick - Yes... if I'm in town. Cruise is second week of Aug. I recommend it every year for Elmhurst but it never happens. speaking of which...

Jerry - I did what I could with the camera to minimize the front wheel gap. It's exactly stock. (4x4) Back is a tiny bit larger.

Here she is with no angles to mask her shame...

Jerry - don't worry... it won't look any worse than your stock does now, so just get rims you like and go for it. You're leasing anyway, so make sure to keep your stockies for turn in time! ;)
