Tranny fluid flush?

Postby CASTRO » Tue Jun 19, 2007 11:16 pm

i change my own every other oil change. drain and fill with only mobile1 full ATF. Always abused at the track and only mod is a B&M tranny cooler. currently @ 187000 miles and still shifts as smooth as a brand new car.

hey you guys. I'm at 25K and I was wondering if the Tranny Fluid I have left over would work for my Gen2.

I got some left over fluid. It's Mobil1 Synthetic ATF Multi-Vehicle Formula Dexron/Mercon (Mercon V).

Would this work for my Gen2? If it does, how many quarts would I need if Im gonna do a tranny flush?

That fluid is fine for Gen 2 - Mine took 14 qts for a proper flush.

and Jerry - bite me! :P Image works fine for me - maybe it's just your browser? ;)
