i kinda did have all the parts on before i pushed the car, everything except the SAFCII, i didnt push the car anywhere over 2.5k rpm (not going into boost) till i had jim's fuel mod in, and even after that, i didnt go race everyone, i had maybe 1 real race with that IS250.

you are right about the switch to the front bank, you want to read off of the front bank only, that's the whole idea to doing the mod/fix. Since you already did it, just leave it alone.

no but like, do i want to leave it like this for the dyno or put it back to how it was, and the dyno tune would fix the back sensor retarding the timing.?

Sorry if i may seem like im asking the same question over and over.

I would just leave it. The ECU is still reading a correct signal from the front but thinking it's from both the front and rear. Since you took the rear out of the equation and as long as the front doesn't blow, you'll be fine. Just leave it alone and go get your shiiat tuned! :D

So i went to the toyota dealership and had a talk with the mechanic there, he said the way my hoses were fitted is limiting my boost. But from what i understand, the way i have my hoses setup is for the "boost on demand" mod that i think Vampire created...check it out. Anyone else have this mod?

The mods can be clearly seen, they are the silver + red hoses.

I'm still not sure about that boost-on-demand thing....I tried it, and it kind of felt like boost came on faster, but it also made my car run super lean.....so I had to switch back to my original setup.

I'm not sure if it would do the same to your cars though.

When you go in for your tuning, make sure that they have a afr report on every dyno chart as well and then share them with us from the beginning to end soe we can all learn (hopefully)~!

Mine is setup differently. I just have it run like the original setup, not the way it says in the supplemental. I've got the boost actuator going straight to the underside barb. I looped the in/out of vacuum tank together. The other 3 under the engine cover are capped off.

is it possible for u to take pics soon so i can see how ur hoses are setup?

also, what does looping the in and out of the vaccume tank do? and what are the 3 things u capped?

also, to note...the Mechanic was saying the S|C was louder than usual when u get on it, but didnt say anything else about it. Is this a cause of concern for me?

Yeah, I'll take pics tomorrow.

Looping the in/out of the vaccum tube does nothing. It just takes it out of the mix. I'll tell you tomorrow about the 3 capped ends.

I don't understand about the s/c being louder than usual. My s/c is pretty quiet, ever since I installed the supra injectors, fuel pump, and 5.5 pulley. I also got the JPP headers, so that's probably drowning out the whine. But, I think mine should be louder - I miss it being loud.

Here's the routing of the hoses. This follows the original setup w/o the EBC (electronic boost controller).

This is under the valve cover. I only had 2 caps, so the last one I just used a hose and capped that off.

This is the actuator and barb on the underside of s/c.

Here's the looped vacuum tank hose.
