Bought a '99 Camry LE, and while it gets great fuel economy (32-36 mpg!) is quiet and comfortable, its really a mom car. I commute 120 miles / day in it and its my very first Toyota. Have had a half a dozen Hondas. Bought this one from an old guy and it had 69k miles on it. The proverbial creampuff. Couldn't resist. I'm VERY impressed with the Toyota quality. I see why these have the great reputation they do. Bought a set of Solara alloys to dress it up a bit. Other than that what else is there to do?
Kind regards to all, H.

99 Camry LE Images

Postby M1Lover » Sat Jun 02, 2007 1:32 pm

Can't WAIT to get the Solara 17" wheels on it. Just ordered lug nutz from an eBay vendor.
Good tips from you guyz too, windows tint yes, rear sway bar? Looked all over but there's very few TRD items for the 99 Camry.... This is my daily driver to work and back. Sold my '02 Civic Si because the cab is too small for a 5'11" guy and it got crappy mileage. That and somebody had smoked in it a lot and it REEKED. This LE is spotless and the old guy who had it did all the old guy stuff to it: Always garaged, RainX on the windows, Bra, DashMat, you know.... Only real extra I can think of is the power seat and side airbag. Paid $7400 for it with 67k miles on it..... Love it.
Thanx for the input. H.
