as everyone knows to install gen 1.5 trd kit on gen1 requires a lil modification. I heard things from drilling to securing with zip ties.
main concern is drilling..
is there a way I can put on the front valence on the gen 1 withOUT drilling a hole into the car??
any info please let me know asap, thanks guys.

-- I did search btw

you drill a hole on the underside of your front bumper... it isnt even visible and it doesnt hurt the bumper in any way... trust me bro, just borrow a drill and youll be fine- it really is extremely easy. Without drilling holes youre just asking for the kit to fall off IMO...

I was in the same boat. However, tons of double sided tape and zip ties still never did the trick. Now it's drilled, bolted, and never moves!
This is the space where I should write something witty or clever, hoping to show some personality.

if you dont want to drill then use lots and LOTS of double sided tape.... still you wont feel safe while driving it. just drill it like EVERYONE else.

blah. basically reason why I'm asking is I'm short on funds.
dont know anyone that has a drill that I can borrow...
would the ziptie method work?

youd still need to get a hole in there for the zip ties... why not just get some self tapping screws??

do it right the first time, youll be MUCH happier in the long run. it wont cost very much to have a shop install the kit. its less than an hours worth of work.
you have to drill a couple new holes to install the side skirts and rear lips anyway... so yeah... have a shop do it for you.....
