Heres my first newbie question

Will TRD parts for an 06 fit on an 07?

I am having a rough time finding a strut brace and want to pull the trigger. The front end needs help as if you guys don't already know that. Not sure if that or the rear sway bar will mess with the warranties though.

Also if anyone has a connection for blue streak metallic mud flaps I am very interested. It is a late color to the family and can't find them either.

Thx in advance

Yes, it will fit and there's no tower brace for your car. There is a front sway bar, however ;)

^^ you're wrong, actually. (sheeze - Gen 1-ers!)

There IS a Front Strut Tower Brace (TRD) and a Rear Stabilizer Bar (TRD) and installing both will NOT mess with your warranty! And yes, they will fit the '07 just fine!

There is "hypothetically" a Front Sway Bar from Whiteline, but due to fitment issues I'm currently having, they're considering pulling it from the catalog.

Yep. I have both the TRD FSTB and RSB on my '07 coupe, and they work really well. As far as parts go, get with Reggie (on this board). He can help you out.

Well I got the stuff from Reggie yesterday and am stoked to get it on the car. He is a great asset here for sure. Sweated my ass off getting the OBX pedal covers on but I sure do smile when I look down and see them. Was thinking about installing the sway bar but think I am having my mechanic instal it after reading the tutorial. I am sure I could do it, but for his cost and a case of beer it's worth it.

Got the sway bar and strut brace installed today and knew it was on as soon as I pulled out the drive. Began running over sunken manholes, big expansion joints and the mirror didn't jump all over the place. Ran an S-curve and the ass held firm. It also kept the smooth ride which made me choose the SLE over the sport model. Mind you she isn't a race car, or anywhere close, but now it handles like a car instead of a mini van.

Glad I had my mechanic put the stuff on. He put it on the lift and I passed along the great tips in the tutorial. No way in hell it was coming off without dropping the rear cross braces but kept the wheels on with no problems. The good news is it cost me $20 and a handshake and only took a little over 1/2 hour.

Now I need to get her washed and get some pics up.

Thanks Reggie, Jeff and many others
