Get a convertible and then if you're at least under 12' tall you'll fit just fine! :D

Gen will will be a piece of cake for you. My bro is 6'5" and 400 lbs - fits just fine in it! ;)

Well - if all the tall guys fit fine in the Gen 1 and the Gen 2 is actually roomier inside, then I don't think you'll have a problem!

Here's an idea... Go test drive one! :D

the solara was designed by the american engineering division of toyota ... i think it was created and developed in ontario canada, or something...

check some specs on interior dimensions if you're really concerned....

but from a lay perspective, i used to drive a 1990 honda accord 4dr, and a 2000 mazda 626 4dr, and the solara is roomier than both (though the backseat accessability was better with the 4 doors....but who cares, my seat is reserved behind the wheel)

oh, and i'm 5'8" 135lbs... but i got tons of room above, behind, and side to side

I ignore where Gen 1 where designed, propably in Cali but they were produce in Ontario, Canada.
Gen 2 is a pure american product from design to production.

I'm 6'3" 275pounds and I feel good in my car.

Just drop your seat back !

And if you get the SLE with the 8-way seat you get even more headroom by lowering the seat a bit. I'm nearly 6'3" and have lots of room in my conv. but I do tend to recline a bit more than some.
