W almost went thru the same path. I didn't own '79 MG...but I did own '93 Camry LE and now '06 Toyota Solara SE V6.

I suggest you to get some TRD RSB (Rear Sway Bar)...the springs (not dramatic and still confortable drop)...you maybe want to be in the new GB :P Info in my signature.
