Newbie in San Diego
Hi Solara Guys and Gals,
I guess I'm about as new to Solara ownership as it gets. I just brought home a gently used (by the dealerships sales manager) '04 SLE convertible last night.
I'd looked awhile to get the color combination (it's Arctic Frost Pearl with brown top and brown leather interior) I wanted.
Now I'm looking forward to lots of enjoyable miles and some weekend getaways with the bride (of 35 years) in our new road warrior.
I'm also looking forward to starting a web page detailing mods I've done and maybe that other SolaraGuy members have done that they've been exceptionally happy with.
I host a website for Kawasaki Nomad/Classic motorcycles called "Gadget's Fixit Page" that started with a simple lock relocation and grew into the many thousands of pictures and pages you can see here: www.gadgetjq.com/gadgetsfixitpage.htm
My Mazda Tribute (replaced by the Solara) page isn't as large but featured some mods other owners found handy: http://www.gadgetjq.com/tribute/
First minor addition to the Solara has been my Garmin GPS which fits very nicely in the storage area under the radio. Second mod will be an audio port (I know, the '07's have them from the factory) so I can plug in other sound sources (I've already ordered a PIE Toy03-AUX module).
I've also managed to post my first request for help in the wrong folder on this forum
but seem to have been forgiven.
Thanks to all who post the detailed information for making this fun car even better.
Cheers,
