2006 SE coupe joining

Hi everyone, I have owned my 2006 Solara SE coupe for a just over a year now. It is lunar mist in color with 16" factory rims. The entire car is factory stock.

My biggest conern with the car is the suspension. The car does give a gental ride, but I feel the suspension is to soft. The car dives violently under heavy braking, and in the corners the body roll is extensive.

My goal is to leave the car stock, but I might need some convincing to up grade componets.

If you want to reduce body roll during turns, get the TRD rear sway bar. IMO it is the best suspension upgrade for the money (~$150)

I'll look into this upgrade. Could you give me a link or make me aware of some group buys concerning this product?

Your best source for TRD parts are www.trdparts4u.com or ask a guy here named Reggie (don't remember his nickname)

Yup... put that RSB in and you'll feel like she's on rails. Best bang for the buck out there. No group buys but it's widely available.

I got RSB and FSTB from Reggie (NVDIS1). Much better price than you'll get from any local dealer. Not sure about the web prices these days.

While you think about it, there's a tuturial with pics for the RSB install. (you can find it w/o searching... still only 1 page of tuts for Gen2.)

Well if it's "violently" diving, I'd say you'd need some new springs/struts, but then again your car is new... Might even pay off to add aftermarket springs/struts to lower the car and further improve handling with it being stiffer.
