Guaging Interest on 2az turbo kits

Postby skipfiddes » Mon Apr 09, 2007 3:37 am

I am somewhat. I'm debating using some parts i have purchased for my supra on my solara. My supra has been a work in progress for 3 years now. I am still undecided on the matter because my solara is my daily driver. I think I have most of the basics. Aside from manifolds of course.

It's an '88 Supra. I have a new fmic, greddy electronic boost control, greddy turbo timer, apexi intake, 2.5" universal hardpipe kit, and a ct-26 turbo. I just have the stock supra injectors. I might not go ahead with the turbo solara.... I don't want to lose my reliability for a DD. I haven't seen many people on this forum running turbo. I would like to look into this further before I go ahead with the project. I am looking at a good amount of $ in custom parts also.

richard is right, currently he is the only boosted 2az solara. i had my kit made by ZPI and then finished by charles gordon at automotion in louisville, KY. i sold it to 'hybridlude" and he wrecked his car and tried to sell the kit on ebay.

richard what are you upgrading to????

Taz1, Just to let you know that this project has not come to fruition, however, I am planning to restart the project with greddy and/or ZPI. I can currently get greddy products through a third party distributor but I am going to try to get setup with them directly to get a better deal. THe less hands in a deal, the better the deal gets. I can keep you updated with my progress.
