I was just wondering if anyone heard about the offical release date...i have read a couple of articles on the D3 and they all say "will be released march 2007"....Is there anyone else out here waiting for it as well?

I'm waiting for it too. It's out up here in Canada, I was at our local BestBuy two weeks ago, they'd just got their demo units in. Looks promising, I made the mistake of looking at a Z1 as well, but for half the price the D3 looks pretty darn good! Prices up here seem pretty high ($1299 cnd). Prices look to be sub $900usd from my looking online.

You picked one up yet Omar? I'd be interested to see pics of one installed in a Solara!

steer clear was the D3... The D1 and D2 uinits were put together better then the D3... Pioneer totally screwed up the D3 model.

How the Z1 works fantastic... great model and easy functionality.

I know the new model Z2 is out.. but the Z1 is just as good..
