well today i put on my pipes. costed 30 bucks to fix, buy bolts, and gaskets. unfortunately i screwed up a bolt on my exhaust maniflod and have to fix it tomorrow cuz it has an exhaust leak and sounds like crap. hopefully i get to see how it sounds tomorrow.

FYI.... i drove for bout 30 miles and no CEL came on . i am running no cat with the test pipe. im gonna throw the scanner on it and see how its reacting to the new pipe tomorrow too

The last of the pipes are in and hoping to be shipped out next week along with the other pipes sent back to us to get fix. My job part is done. I gaved my money and made sure the last pipes are in and made sure the one sent back were rewelded. ALL I did was move the flex down more since I didnt see any problem with the mounting when it was lined up to the machine. My friend will finish packaging and will be shipped out as soon as every last thing is finish and the weld guy is paid. Once shipped out we will refund the rest who didnt send us the pipe back what money was left over. I know its not allot but its still under 500 bucks and you got a pipe unlike me who lost that 500 dollar pipe plus money out of pocket refund and repair. Its fair in the end I guess. But enjoy the extra power it gives.

you ship your part and I ship my part. My guy and I pay for the repair and ship it back to you. 8 day to us 1-3 day to repair (Because we work out an emergency plan with a welder) and 8 day back to you....ETA maybe faster.

Hey Dat, Just checking in. How are the returned pipes coming along? Would you happen to have an ETA? Thanks for everything!

I don't know if this has been addresed....but I tried installing dat's y-pipe and it's completely different between Gen 1 and Gen 1.5 Solaras. Oddly on the Gen 1.5's the header pipe runs down further compared to the Gen 1's

^^ you forgot to add that you are a cali spec solara...

im wondering if there were any major differences between cali specs and every other state (that does not have the same emissions standards)

I dont know. I ask and checked allot of the solara specs and the only two I found for gen 1 and 1.5 were California and Non-Cali specs only.

If you have cali specs the pipe will not work. I dont remember selling you the pipe but I did warn everyone about cali specs. Cali specs the headers hang down lower and there are no difference between auto and manual specs on the headers. I had two solara noncali specs and my aunt had a cali spec solara. I checked.

Cali is designed to filter out more air than its non-CA counterparts and thus cleaner... Except if you ask me, they should do something about the 70s school buses rather than than just sweating the cars (e.g. a mandatory repair); just driving behind one of those things for 10 minutes probably has enough crap in the emissions to kill the entire military forces of The Ukraine. They should retire those things anyway!

UPDATE JULY 16, 2008

Apparently the design of the Y pipe was never thrown away and I was ask if I still want to make some more before it is thrown away. So here I am.. Last production run. This is the design to the good design run and not the bad one.

HERES the deal........ I need 20 buyers. PRICING will NOT be in the 300s but in the 250s .due to the cost of shipping I can not go any cheaper. This is the best deal I can get from the guy. I have 48 hours to reply to ditch the design or keep it. I got a few PMs asking to bring it back even lately so why not? This is the best price I get drop it down to.. Takes about 1 month to get them but usually money has to be paid first to make them someone has to pay to get it made.

AGAIN.. These pipes are hand made and weld and has proven itself to last for years and everyone who has installed them have seen gains off it. Sure its not JP headers and all the bells and whistle but its the best bang for the buck you will get.

Any pics and info on first page. I am doing it due to finding out the build setup has not been thrown away yet.

$250 dollar shipped to your door.
