Just purchased a 2004 Solara convertible. It has just 15000 miles on it
Here is a link to the Ebay auction page.

Anyone know what the official name of the Exterior color is ?
ALso would like to put mobil 1 in the motor and redline synthetic in the trans and rear end. Any cons to this idea ?
I am going to fly down and drive it home to CT next week, of course with the top down as much as possible. :)

Hey Congrats!! :D

You're going to LOVE it!! Good thing you got the windscreen already installed too - it's a BE-OTCH to do yourself! ;)

Oh - no probs switching to Mobil 1 - don't let any schmuck try to tell you otherwise!

Have fun - drive home safe and go post an Introduction when you get back! ;)

here, here. That keeps the interior down to 2 colors. No freaky layered look.

LOL, I know what you mean... I have seen the inside of a Artic Frost w/ tan top... and my first comment was "Why so many colors..." And actually I think it added up to 4 "layers" if you count the wood trim... Looked pretty strange IMO.

I'll try to post this in every "new" Windscreen post that pops-up...

Solara Windscreen Part# is PT906-06041

New shipments are making their way to dealers this month (Jan 07) - but contact Reggie here on SG (NVDIS1) and he'll hook you up! ;)

I've ridden with the windscreen in and I frankly did not notice that much of a difference.

I've had mine for over 6 months - leave it in most of the time and have the top down for more than 50% of the time, so I really know how it feels/sounds with it on (primarily windows-up on the freeway at 80+ that is).

I just took a road trip to SF this week and we had the top down most of the way WITHOUT the windscreen (had to pick someone up at the airport along the way) and it was SOOOO totally noticeable! :o

Agreed - low speeds and all windows down - not much - unless the back part is behind the seats instead of across the back. ;)
