Would you buy Body Side Moldings if available?

Would you get Body Side Moldings (The plastic strip that goes on the side of your doors) if it was available for your Gen 2/2.5 Solara? And please explain why or why not?

They are available for my 07 Camry and I'm debating getting them since every car I've owned has had them (like my gen1 Solara). Even though they don't protect the car from all door dings they get some. Any input will help. Thanks.

LOL, I am starting to agree with you guys.

They look good on the Australian Camry though IMO. And it comes stock on the Australian and Chinese Camry's.

The BSM for the U.S. Camry looks like crap and the placement seems off (That is not my Camry lol).

It looks like he put it on wrong too.

Fugly IMO - but then again, so are door dings. :(

In america, IMO they are made/placed for door dings and shopping carts. In asia, they are made placed at bicycle/moped tire heights (assumption!!??)

It looks out of place. Definitely kills the lines of the car.

I just exercise EXTRA caution when parking... circling Wally-World until an END spot opens up... (still gotta fear CARTS...)

Mine got ONE DING in the first month I had it... I'll have the "DRY ICE AND HOT LIGHTS" guy work it out sometime... heh heh... :o

Nope. The Gen2 Solara is all about curves. Those arrow-straight lines in the middle mess with the flow. (imo)
