New 2004 and up Solara Owners, Payment/Trade/Model Survey

Postby crispone » Sun Sep 24, 2006 11:23 am

You're right, but the initial objective of <299/mt for a new car was achieved.... and I STILL saw GROSS cost that was well over mine in other deals out there... (Canada shouldn't count, ay?)

It's all about the "trickle-cost" in my rationale...

My solara conv.

Postby kblanch1 » Sun Dec 24, 2006 8:18 pm

I have a 2006 SLE Conv with NAV

I got it used with 19K miles for just under $23K
They gave me $1800 more than I owed on my trade...and I put down another $1200
Payments are around $430/month for 60 months.

Haven't gotten the extended warrantee yet...but I will probably do that in the next couple of months. It's worth it just for the electronics and NAV in case anything happens to them.

My Solara

Postby wildcat9669 » Sat Jan 13, 2007 5:16 pm

I just purchased a 2006 Solara SE with 29,000 miles from the local Dodge dealer. It is Desert Sand and is a pretty basic Solara with the four cylinder engine, cloth seats and single disc CD player. More miles than what I wanted but the deal was too good to pass up; I bought it for $8995, plus the 2001 Grand Prix I traded in. I am new to this board and just want to say that there seems to be a lot of good advice here for the taking.
