Just joined the forum. Have visited many times in the past - great site. Original owner of '02 5 speed SE V6 with sport pkg. Silver (lunar mist). 76K miles. Car runs (and looks) like the day I bought it. All stock except for TRD RSB and a TWM Short-shifter w/weighted shift-knob.

Nice setup man. The 5spd V6 gen 1/1.5 are very underrated in the automotive world. Do yourself a favor if you want your car to get serious, get the CPE intake, and some spray. It was my old setup and it got down.

Actually had the car 5 yrs - makes me even worse. Better late than never.

Sport Pkg nothing special - bigger alloy wheels (look kinda like old mag wheels), little stiffer setup (which isn't saying much), sunroof & couple other convenience items.

Going to test drive an '06 Pontiac GTO this weekend - 400hp Vette Ls2 engine with 18'' wheels and 6 spd manual. Sales sucked out here in MA and styling too understated. But I gotta try it before they're gone.

Anyone had any experience with the GTO? Am I crazy to consider it or is it the ultimate sleeper?

GTO's don't seem to sell around here either, there's a few on the local pontiac lot. I like em though.

Welcome :)
