hey John, remember I told you the guy who started this event?

So i went to the donut shop and ask for Don, the old lady said he doesn't not work in the store but his wife sometimes comes after 9:30pm. I asked her what's the best way to find him, she didn't say anything, then i said..email?? then she's like yes yes!!..haha


So he must be a rich owner! Btw, it's a very small small donut shop.

Simon, just start thinking of the weirdest things to bring with you and bring it. Items include, a creeper (rolling skateboard looking thing), extra jugs or containers (incase for fluids for whatever reason), rags, towels, paper towels, extra coolant/water. etc. You won't need everything, but its always nice to know that you have it in the middle of nowhere. And its a good thing just in case someone needs to borrow. Also, bring something like a spare tire or maybe 1 of your stock rims. Theres nothing to puncture your tires on the track, but there might be on the way there and back. Just some little tips from past experiences. See you and Kenny there!

dont worry simon, he was a WRX and trying to be hardcore. Sadly we got FWD, so the only thing we will be getting is understeer safe, but not so fun haha.

Regarding the insurance, it does not cover any property, whether personal or track property (example: if you crash your car into a tower for instance, you have to pay for the damage to the track, directly to the track, and have to pursue damages to your car with your own insurance company). I unfortunately am not well versed in how the insurance works, we are purchasing a daily policy through the racetrack, for specific information please contact Buttonwillow Raceway.



This event offers no formal instruction, there will be many seasoned drivers that you can utilize for advice and tutelage, but there will be no formal instructors.



It is highly likely I will attend the event, but that’s not set in stone at this point.

Hey John,

I won't be able to make it to this event. My car will not be out of the shop in time. So I won't even have my car around this time.

I have my Solara but right now its not worthy of the track and I having to daily drive it and can't risk the chance of breaking something along the way.

At the next Event I am def. joining and taking the xB out to the track.
