in addition to purchasing spring/struts. Im also looking at brakes.
What is the exact difference between slotted/drilled rotors, etc..?
And drum brakes.. etc?

still learning.

( considering brembo like Mr_chunks has on his car with Hawk brake pads )

brembos are def the way to go. They only make blanks, slotted and cross drilled or the combo. Blanks brake better warp less, cross drilled look better and save pads.

Drum brakes do very little, you can do a rear disc conversion. The pads are equally important to the stopping power of the car. SS brake hoses will also encourage better braking. Slotted rotors clean off the pads to give a clean braking surface, but because of this they eat pads. The drilled ones help prevent gas related fade. It has already been said normal vented rotors have the most surface area, so they do the best for normal driving IMO.

i hear drilled rotors are more fragile
=\
but i got crossdrilled+slotted kuz it looks cool. So far in my experience with them, they grip way better than stock, they have no squeal and they seem to be working just fine. Checking the pads, i found no uneven or unecessary wear, so it seems okay to me.

^ alright good cuz my brakes sqeal lightly when i brake but this is even at like 25 mph.. dont like it' gets annoying (with windows up) ...but would upgraded brakes by brembo work with stock wheels? im assuming so right since Mr_chunks had them on before his rims.

Unless you can get a kit, the rotors are the same size as stock.
