Model D35 Red Top.
This is a direct drop in. The battery is shorter then stock so you need to oder the height adaptor with it. Its like 15 bucks.

Or Model D35 Orange Top. Its the yellow top Model D34 in reverse so it fits our car.

I am using model D35 Red top in my Solara. I've had it for almost 2 years now and no problems as of date. I was also running a system that drew allot of power.

You can probably get these batteries at your local Costco. If not just google it and buy from a online company.

They are Dry cell Batteries so they are good. You don't have to do any maintiance to them unlike the water acid type battery. Ie: Stock battery

They also hold more power then typical batteries. Great if you are running a system in your car or have allot of accessories that draw allot of power.

I personally went with the Red Top. It has better cranking juice then the Yellow top. Since yellow top is a deep cycle battery I had a hard time starting my car sometimes.

But it really depends on what your running inside you car. I ran my car with a Red Top and I had a additional Red top in the trunk for my system.

I have three yellow tops mounted just behind the back seat. I removed the battery from under the hood to try to make room for a true CAI. I'm still working on that part of it.

By the way, I have a 2001 SE V6.

Orange top was the old name for the D34 RED TOP with reversed poles. That model is now Red top - 34R.
