man, the best feature on the scion tc is the panaramic sunroof! it's absolutely stunning. i really wish the solara had it.

in fact, i am kind of pissed off that my se coupe don't have a sunroof, period. oh well. i hope toyota make all their cars with panaramic sunroof in the future.

it will be awesome if someone made a panaramic sunroof kit for the solara. i would so buy it! given that it's $1k max, lol.

Get a VW Eos. It's a retractable hard top with a sunroof. Best of both worlds.
When in doubt gas it out, brakes just slow you down.

I'd rather that the tC didn't have a glass roof which would make it cost less, and it would also make it more structurally strong. But that's just me :-?

Yup...nice car...a little small, but the front seats go WAY back to give the front seat passengers LOTS of leg room. If you're tall, it's great!

yea, panoramic roofs are usually reserved for upper class cars. but, they do make a scion tc version without panoramic roof. it's just rare.

i am not into ragtop becuase it's uncomfortably loud. i don't even open my window when i am on the freeway. i also don't like having dirt and debris flying into the cabin either. but, i know it's a selling point to a lot of solara buyers so kudos to toyota.

Damn... not bad. Never seen that. Wonder if they have them w/o the red leather. 8) I'm curious if the put a real engine in that thing.

You can get it with the 250hp VR6 motor, but it gets pricey and no trunk space and very little rear seat room.

2.0T 200 horsepower, 207 lbs-ft torque, 4 cylinder, in-line, 4-valve,
turbocharged, FSI

or

3.2L 250 horsepower, 235 lbs-ft torque, VR 6-cylinder, 4-valve

I'm not sure the 6 cyl is out yet. The 2.0 turbo starts right under $28k. Yes the trunk is small, but it is in most convertibles, excluding the Solara. It's true, the back seats are small, but again...most covertibles (except Solara & Sebring) might as well not have one. I test drove one. The dealer said that the back seat was basically put in to lower insurance costs. I gotta tell ya, the front seat goes way back for all the tall guys out there. Lots of front leg room. It's a really nice car at a decent price.

The car has decent power.

EDIT: yes, you can get them w/o red leather
